Hiya Makers! I’m excited to share this alpine stitch in the round baby blanket pattern! This design is one that’s been rolling around in my noggin for a while. I’ve always loved the texture of the alpine stitch, but I kept wondering what it would look like if it stepped outside of its usual straight-row comfort zone. I also have a soft spot for granny squares. They’re classic and comforting to stitch up. So this design grew from a simple question I couldn’t shake, “What if the alpine stitch was worked in the round?
